Amali Jewelry Selects Balsam Design to add E-Commerce

Amali Jewelry, the jewelry design studio of Sara Freedenfeld, has a great website already which was professionally designed by Karolina Novitska of studioekar.com. The problem is there is no way for visitors to purchase anything on the site.

Amali Jewelry has selected Balsam Design to add a fully integrated E-Commerce package to the existing site that will integrate seamlessly with the current design.

Expected launch is late October '08.

Maranyundo Initiative Site Launch

Balsam Design has launched the new site for The Maranyundo Initiative, a Boston-based nonprofit that has opened a school for girls in Rwanda.

The new site features:

  • a custom built CMS
  • the ability for the client to upload photos, edit and create pages, and submit news stories
  • a new, eye-catching design

You can view the new site here.

Congratulations to Jen Boyle, Executive Director.

OpSec Security Site Launch

Due to the hard work of all involved, OpSec Security and Balsam Design launched the new OpSec website at 10pm on August 8th 2008.

The new site (designed by an outside company) can be viewed here: http://opsecsecurity.com

It features a custom CMS which allows the content mangers of OpSec to collaborate on content and effectively share the company's latest news throughout the organization's three divisions and with the public.

Congratulations to Terri Mock and Kristin Failla - Lead developers from OpSec for the project.

Play the Virtual Liquor Store Owner Game

I wasn't going to include this game on the new website. But I looked at my "Page Not Found" errors today and saw that in just the last five days (since I launched the new site) 45 people had tried to access it using the old URL!

I think that is good enough reason to put it back up.

Click here to play it. Enjoy.
